Inter-generational prayer partnerships
One of the great things about the family of God's people is the chance to encourage and be encouraged by Christians of different generations. The church weekend away was a small taste of how good that can be. "Inter-generational prayer partnerships" means 2 people making a plan to do that more intentionally and consistently across the year. Because many of us at church don't know a lot of people outside our own circle of peers, the pastoral staff team would be happy to match you up with someone else (of the same gender but a different generation) from PBC. The core of what's involved is meeting regularly (fortnightly, monthly or even weekly) to catch up and pray for each other; you may also decide to read a bit of the Bible together, to serve each other in practical ways like babysitting or teaching some kind of life skill, or to get involved in some sort of ministry project together - what ever helps you to encourage each other live the Christian life.
